Dual study course Electrical Engineering (practice-integrating) B.Eng.

Elektrotechnik dual praxisintegrierend B.Eng.

Summary

Whether for the aircraft technology, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or the chemical industry – any product or branch is related to electrical engineering and electronics. In connection with automation technology, energy technology will be of great importance in the future since a secure, reliable, and environmentally friendly energy supply is one of the central pillars of the industrial society. Furthermore, the guarantee of a worldwide energy supply is becoming a great challenge in the future.

Electrical engineers need to be flexible in their professional position: While researchers, using scientific methods, elaborate technical principles at universities and academic institutes, major electrical companies, however, offer positions in research and development, design, production and quality management, or in plant project planning, software engineering, sales and service.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering earned excellent marks in the renowned university ranking, conducted by the ZEIT, a German national weekly newspaper, and the Centre for Higher Education (CHE).
