Summary

The research and development of new products is characterised by high dynamics. New challenges are constantly waiting to be tackled by engineers trained professionally in electrical engineering. The course deals with the key technologies which are relevant for our economy: IT, communication technology and mechatronics/automation technology. They are employed in a wide range of fields including: Internet, mobile communications, multimedia, database and information systems, software technologies, digital television, navigation systems, communication systems, microcomputer technology, high-performance sensors and control and drive systems .

The Bachelor in Electrical Engineering prepares the graduates for the wide range of challenges prevalent on the labour market optimally with solid communication of the basics complemented with special emphasis on practical applications.

Beyond the up-to-date and application-oriented contents, the course in Meschede is characterised by state-of-the-art equipment and the direct, personal contact between the students and professors.
