The application periods for our Master's degree courses sometimes differ for Germans and applicants with equal status. The specific deadlines can be found on the respective degree program pages.

Applicants from non-EU countries can apply Master's degree courses from the beginning of November to 15 January each year (for summer semester) and from the beginning of March to 15 July each year (for winter semester).

Application for Master's degree courses

The application periods for our Master's degree courses sometimes differ for Germans and applicants with equal status. The specific deadlines can be found on the respective degree programme pages.

Applicants from non-EU countries can usually apply Master's degree courses from the beginning of November to 15 January each year (for summer semester) and from the beginning of March to 15 July each year (for winter semester).

Exceptions are the study programmes Advanced Engineering and Engineering Management M.Sc and International Management & Information Systems M.A. and International Management and Information Systems – Online M.A. Please select the desired degree programme via the drop-down menu to see the specific deadlines.

Advanced Engineering and Engineering Management M.Sc.

Application for Winter Semester: Mid-November to 15 May (Non-EU students) or Mid-May to 30 June (EU students). Application for Summer Semester: Mid-May to 15 November (Non-EU students) or Beginning of December to 31 January (EU students).

(Attention: Applications are only possible within the respective application period!)

When applying for the Master’s study program Advanced Engineering and Engineering Management, please make sure to choose the suitable application procedure for you. Applicants from Germany and the EU countries (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) should apply via the university portal. Applicants from Non-EU countries should apply via uni-assist.

International Management & Information Systems M.A.

Application for Summer Semester: 15 July to 15 October (Non-EU students) or Beginning of December to 31 January (EU students).

(Attention: Applications are only possible within the respective application period!)

When applying for the Master’s study program International Management & Information Systems (IMIS), please make sure to choose the suitable application procedure for you. Applicants from Germany and the EU countries (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) should apply via the university portal. Applicants from Non-EU countries should apply via uni-assist.

International Management and Information Systems – Online M.A.

Application for Winter Semester: 16 November to 31 July (Non-EU students) or Mid-May to 31 July (EU students).

(Attention: Applications are only possible within the respective application period!)

When applying for the Master’s study program International Management & Information Systems – Online (IMIS), please make sure to choose the suitable application procedure for you. Applicants from Germany and the EU countries (including Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) should apply via the university portal. Applicants from Non-EU countries should apply via uni-assist.

Drop-in consultation via Zoom

Every first Monday of the month, we offer a Drop-in consultation with English-speaking counselling via Zoom. If you are interested in studying at Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, simply drop in without making an appointment within the specified period.
