Summary

The main idea of the part-time degree programme Industrial Engineering and Management is to enable professionals studying in a technical or economic environment while working. Combining management and engineering, the study programme provides a broad, basic, and well-founded education in order to build a bridge between the technical and economical areas of a company. In addition to the professional knowledge, students also gain social and communicative competencies.

The structure of the nine-semester programme is constructed in such way that students are able to study while working. Approx. 70% of the course content is taught through self-study materials (study packages) and 30% in courses with regular attendance. The knowledge taught through the study packages is to be expanded by practical exercises, internships, and seminars.

Target Group: Professionals who want to obtain a university degree (Bachelor of Engineering) combining self-study and phases with regular attendance.
