Let's talk! - About diversity. Because diversity affects all of us.
Funded by the initiative "Vielfalt an deutschen Hochschulen" (Divesity at German Universities) of the German Rectors' Conference (Hochschulrektorenkonferenz - HRK), we have launched the participative project CampusDialoge at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences!
The aim of the project is to establish the foundation for a diverse-sensitive cultural change at our university on the basis of a self-critical reflection of existing structures, experiences and attitudes. The project seeks to emphasise different experiences of diversity and perspectives and to break down barriers and prejudices in everyday university life.
May it be diversity or racism. Whether disabilities or queer alliances. Whether first-generation students or experiences of violence. It is always important to us that everyone feels included. We have already been able to raise awareness about these topics through various events.
The feedback we have received is consistently positive. Participants would recommend CampusDialogue events to others:
"I was finally able to meet people who are like-minded and have the feeling of not being alone."
"An appreciative and exciting exchange."
"The topic of diversity was made visible."
"Very good speakers and organisers, joint discourse, processing of the topics - and not with a pointing finger."
